Gas manifolds are designed to supply the pipeline system with sufficient quantity of gas by cylinders or tanks. We can provide manifold system according to EN ISO 7396-1 or HTM 02-01 or NFPA or other relevant medical standards.
The typical manifold for medical gases (Oxygen, Nitrogen, CO2 & Medical Air) usually consists of a two-sided cylinder supply with automatic changeover between the empty and full side, and an additional third source for emergency supply.
For oxygen, the liquid source is usually used as the primary supply, while the two-side cylinder supply is used for reserve. The design of manifolds enables highly reliable functioning and offers a number of advantages for the user.
Manifold can be opted for flexible installation while integrating the manifold header with the change over unit through SS Braided High Pressure Tail Pipe conforming to standards, thus rigid alignment requirement while installing the system could be avoided. High Pressure Header Isolation valve can also be integrated in the system if required. Connection to cylinder end of pigtail / tailpipe to suit different standard cylinder valve are also available on request.
AGSSs (Anesthesia Gas Scavenging System)
An AGSS system is a medical device used in hospitals. It is used to gather gas or aerosolized medication after it is exhaled from the patient or left the area of the patient. Often used to collect anesthesia, it can also be used to collect any type of gas or aerosolized medicine that is intended only for the patient and should not be breathed in by any other medical personnel. When using the aerosolized medicines, the scavenger system prevents the spread of it away from the patient area; aerosolized medicines can have serious side effects and people may become tolerant to it quickly, hence the use of the Anesthesia Gas scavenger system.
